This just pinched it as my favourite collection. I loved loved loved it. Freely admit that I'm not keen on the blue longer patterned dresses (they were very pretty but they are just not my style or colour) but everything else I loved and I want. The black graphic lines and colour pops with the subtle nod to the sixties is my kinda thing. I'm surprised in myself that I even liked the lips, a little cheeky motif that avoid being too cutesy or tacky. I've been tempted for a while to buy something from Holly Fulton for ASOS (which is now on sale!) but the temptation is over, I'm smitten.

LFW: My picks part 1
So after all the shows, the colours and models (all from the comfort of my sofa), this is my pick of the bunch of LFW i.e. the things that I would wear tomorrow should someone happen to magically make them appear in my wardrobe (in a size 10 pretty please)
The biggest surprise for me was the Issa show. I couldn't care less what Kate Middleton is wearing and my assumption after that blue dress, which shock horror I thought was a bit meh, was that the collection would be well a bit meh. And yeah of course some of it was BUT the 4 pieces below are up there in my top selection so well done Issa, you proved me wrong.

NYFW
I don't tend to follow trends in fashion and I have never been the girl who needs to have the must have dress, shoes, accessory etc, because I love individual, personal style, (I don’t want to be a high street clone wearing identikit fashion uniforms). However, when it comes to fashion week with all the big shows I can't help but get drawn in, who could? The clothes start infiltrating the media and websites and the buzz suddenly enthrals you and the next thing you know you're coveting the high street versions.

On a final note Big Fat Gypsy Weddings totally ruined the Marescha show for me!

NYFW passed me by completely and truth be told I didn't pay much attention to it, everyone knows london is better, and having looked at the shows and collections I don't think I missed much but netherless here are my pick of the bunch (n/b the strong colours themes we'll all be adorned in come autumn)...
By far my favourite collection was Proenza Schouler. I'm not for the American western look of fringing and denim and cowboy boots as it makes me actually look like I work on a ranch but the Proenza Schouler show got me really excited and made me lust after every piece as they referenced the American Frontier of native America. Something about the geometric Aztec patterns combined with the gorgeous vibrant colours makes me really excited and really intrigues me. Plus the mustard yellow weave dress is too die for!

Jason Wu- This collection is so high street friendly I expect to see copies popping up all over Topshop & H&M. Lots of lace, 15 different types of handmade in Paris lace to be precise, on collars, sleeves, panels and strips with lace motifs cut out and sewn on is basically what I already have in my wardrobe (hurrah!) and calls for some purse friendly customising.

And finally, Victoria Beckham. Now, I liked it, simple, classic, elegant. Strong colours and strong femininity, it is not a 'wow' collection but then it doesn't need to be, thats not what it is about. The only thing I wonder is why she always shows in America, such a shame, come to London!
