Happy days

The sun is shining, everyone is on a wedding high and everything seems right with the world. 

 

I haven't been able to get this song out of my head, so good, perfect sunny love vibes, enjoy, I'm off to listen to it on repeat in the sunshine.

River Island Wedges

There are alot of beautiful wedges in the shops right now but my favourite of the day are these from River Island at only £40! I think they are just perfect for crossing that line between spring to summer and onto autumn as they could easily be worn with bare legs or tights.  More beautiful wedges to come...

I was reminded of the fabulous brokenfab while reading American Elle, really beautiful unique hand beaded jewellery, and that model for the 2011 collection is fierce, I might just have to invest...

Royal Wedding blah blah

Possibly one of my favourite things in America (aside from the huge bottles of diet coke, yum) was the Royal Wedding coverage.  It was non stop and endlessly funny with huge magazine displays in Barnes & Noble with dedicated magazines ( I haven't even seen anything like that over here) and the shocking lack of any knowledge about it as they confused William with Prince Andrew, claimed Harry was marrying Kate and even mistook Camilla with marrying Charles back in 1981!  The thing I love, is that for a country that is overly obsessed with it they don't know anything about it, dare I say it, classic America!

So anyway, I will be watching the wedding but I don't really care about it/what she wears/what the Beckhams wear etc I'm purely watching it because its an occasion and I feel that I should. Plus I don't have to be in work till the afternoon and I'm all for anything that involves having a tipple for breakfast!

Back into the swing

I have so much I want to write about after my holiday to America but I have been so unbelievably busy its been disgusting.  To be fair I did have a couple days off before I had to go back to work but that was spent celebrating the boyfriends birthday (which didn't help with the jet lag!) and dealing with this...

So I am slowly getting back to normality, though I am working the bank holidays so I'm not sure how that fits into the plan. But, then again I am drinking a lot of Pimms so you could say the plan to get back to reality is going pretty well! Happy Easter everyone x x x

Home time

A quick post... back from holiday, had the most amazing time, absolutely shattered! And as sod's law would have it I go away for some sun and then London gets its arse in gear and the sun comes out, but I shouldn't complain it's good for topping up the tan! More to come on holiday times but for now I leave you with this, mmmm sunshine
